Dr. Jörg Hofmann leitet das Glücksspielrechtsteam vom MELCHERS und ist „Immediate Past President“ der International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL), der weltweit führenden Vereinigung anerkannter Glücksspielrechtsexperten, die durch Networking und Erfahrungsaustausch die Entwicklung des Glücksspielrechts in der Zukunft prägt.

Dr. Hofmann ist regelmäßig als gefragter Redner oder Moderator auf führenden Glücksspielrechtskonferenzen weltweit vertreten und ist Mitglied des Editorial Boards von „Gaming Law Review and Economics“. Er ist Autor und Co-Autor zahlreicher Veröffentlichungen zum Glücksspielrecht, darunter „The International Comparative Legal Guide to Gambling 2016 Edition – Germany“ und Mitglied des iGaming Counsels von Clarin Events in London.

Seit 2005 ist er außerdem Lehrbeauftragter an der Universität Heidelberg.
