Frau Maier berät deutsch- und englischsprachige Mandanten aus der Glücksspielbranche in allen regulatorischen und genehmigungsbezogenen Fragen des Glücksspielrechts. Ihre Beratungstätigkeit umfasst außerdem die strategische Beratung und Betreuung von Glücksspielunternehmen, insbesondere im Rahmen von Due Diligence und Compliance Prüfungen oder in Bezug auf wettbewerbsrechtliche und kartellrechtliche Fragestellungen. Frau Maier begleitet gerichtliche Verfahren, war bereits mehrfach in verschiedenste behördliche Genehmigungsverfahren involviert. Sie ist Mitglied der International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) und Global Gaming Women (GGW) und verfügt, wie alle Mitglieder des Glücksspielrechts-Teams, über ein ausgezeichnetes internationales Netzwerk in der Branche und Erfahrungen in der Lobbyarbeit.

Frau Maier publiziert regelmäßig in führenden Fachzeitschriften der Branche und ist Mitautorin des „Germany“-Kapitels in sowohl der von Thomson & Reuters herausgegeben Veröffentlichung „Gaming Law Practical Law Global Guide“ (3. Ausgabe), als auch der von Global Legal Group Ltd. herausgegebenen Veröffentlichung „ICLG The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Gambling 2017“, die jeweils im Frage-Antwort-Format und auf hohem Niveau grenzüberschreitende Einblicke in die weltweit teilweise sehr unterschiedlichen Ausgestaltungsformen von Glücksspielregulierung gewähren.
