MELCHERS at the 3rd German Export Day
The 3rd German Export Day took place at the end of October. It was organized by the ExportManager, an online magazine of the F.A.Z.-Fachverlag. Over 200 participants had found their way to the Mannheim Congress Centrum Rosengarten, mainly those responsible for exports and finance as well as managing directors of companies. In numerous workshops, lectures and panel discussions, visitors received up-to-date information on the most important export-relevant topics. The event was dominated by trade policy challenges and digital change, with the tension between political conflicts and global economic networking playing a particularly important role. So it was not surprising that the MELCHERS workshop "New EU Dual-Use Regulation - What is coming next?" was one of the most visited lectures. The two MELCHERS partners Dr. Bodo Vinnen and Samuel Gruber, experts for export control and international business law, informed in an exchange with Jens Kemle of the Export Manager about the changes which the amendment of the regulation will presumably bring and what consequences this could have for exporting companies.
MELCHERS was also represented with a stand in the exhibition area of the German Export Day. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to get to know the consulting offer of MELCHERS and to deepen conversations after the workshop.
